At the Life Exchange Center, we are colleagues in recovery, putting us in the unique position to foster an environment of understanding for our members. Life Exchange Center provides a community of support through peer-inspired programs and activities
MENTAL ILLNESS
Mental illness isolates— we offer a place of acceptance that takes power away from stigma and fosters connection. Members come together to reclaim enjoyment in activities such as our drumming group which has performed around the city; our art therapy program, which has been featured in some local art shows; cooking classes; "in our own voice", an opportunity for members to share their stories with one another; our community garden, which members work together to help flourish.
